In this course, you will discover Connecticut employers, understand your role in professional learning, know how to follow industry trends, and connect your unique skillset with the industry.
The Nutmeg Awards recognize student excellence in film, television, and digital media.
A faculty member can nominate a student after demonstrating excellence in one of the following four areas of Digital Media: Motion Design and Animation, Interactive Media Design/Development, Film/Video production, and Communications and Marketing.
Nominated students receive access to this course and submit work produced in an educational environment. This work is then evaluated by a panel of industry professionals, and if successful the student will the Nutmeg Awards in Digital Media.

Understand how to work and support Entrepreneurs in Connecticut. The DMCT Entrepreneur course provides information on succeeding as a digital media professional supporting Entrepreneurship.
This course will introduce you to the concept of a start-up business, the value of digital branding assets, and how you can support startups in your community.
You must complete "The Freelancer" before taking this course.
